Now you can also find the metal cylinders in cherry red, chrome, yellow, black, purple and white. It’s true. These powerful speed containers have become the must-have fashion accessory of the season.

 

All fun aside, the new trend in nitrous bottles is really just part of a natural evolution. American Architect Louis Sullivan said it best, “Form ever follows function.” The function of the devices is to boost speed. Mission accomplished. No one says you can’t look good while driving fast.

After taking care of the form, some owners decide to revisit the function feature. There are remote control kits which open your bottle with the simple push of a button. Automatic pressure controls moderate nitrous flow. Specialized brackets allow for dual side-by-side bottle mounting. Electronic interfaces control both pressure and temperature.

 

While most of the available customized features don’t come cheap, remember that you can always purchase regular kit bottles and customize a little bit at a time. Once you decide to accept your need for speed, the possibilities, and the accessories, are endless.
