Safety pads are a must so you can minimize injuries, you will fall off your micro scooter, keep your elbows and knees protected, you don't want to retire at 19 years old. Wrist pads have become standard wear too, when you fall your body wants to protect the impact and your hands and arms naturally will try to minimize that impact.
