Build A Solar Panel And Start Saving Money
If you have come to the conclusion that you would like to end your dependency on fossil fuels and lower your monthly electric bill you are in good company. Using solar power is quickly becoming a common means to achieve these goals. Solar panels use the suns rays to generate electricity that can be used to power your home, your RV, and just about anything that runs on electricity.
The sun is a naturally renewable resource, and aside from the occasional cloudy or rainy day, is very dependable for energy production. It is a good choice to lower your bills and is safe for the environment. Solar is a great way to reduce your carbon footprint, save money, and lower your dependence on fossil fuels at the same time.
If you are like me, the majority of your monthly bills come from utilities. Before switching to solar, my electric bills were about $550 dollars a month. Living in Florida, the cost of keeping my house cool in the summer accounted for half of my monthly bills. After building my own solar panels, I was able to bring my electric bill down by about $50 dollars monthly.

The solar electricity you generate can be contained in batteries for days when the sun simply isn't shining. After you build a solar panel, the panels can be mounted on your roof or you may mount them to stand in your backyard. What really matters is the quantity of land you have and your individual preference. I mounted mine on my property with turning posts to be able totilt them depending on which direction the sun is strongest.
The solar panels, by a chemical reaction will produce a DC current which will then be inverted into AC current that can be applied in your house. The good thing about solar panels is that they last a very long time, sometimes as long as 20 years, before they have to be replaced.
