After gathering the enough fame by Nissan Micra in India, The Company has one again endeavor to come over the expectation level of Indian consumers and has decided to launch Nissan Sunny in India. This new creation by Nissan in India is launching soon in the market. It is to be estimated that the car will announce in the mid of 2011. The Nissan Sunny should be available with a petrol and diesel engine from the Renault stable, the same engine that was used on Logan.
The Nissan Sunny is not all new for the roads; it has already shown its shiny and gleaming performance in other countries. This Sunny range was first rolled out in the year of 1966 and a lot of modifications took place every passing year for decades. Now here in India, the name Sunny doesn't go with the Indian's personality, if go back in the past of automobile history the Bajaj Scooter, Bajaj Sunny was soon discontinued in a few years only. So the company should again rethink on the name of the car.
As per the sources, it comes out that the Nissan Sunny is to be equipped with the 1.5 litre petrol and the same capacity 1.5 litre diesel engines that produce 100 bhp of peak power and the engine might churns out around 146 Nm of torque like other 1.5 litre power trains. It is also mated with a 5 speed manual gearbox and loaded with the 4 cylinders and 16 valves. With this engine design the expected price tag of the Nissan Sunny will have to face tough competition from the other cars like Honda City, Hyundai Verna, Maruti Swift Dzire, Tata Indigo Manza, and Ford Fiesta.
It is speculated that the Nissan Sunny will embedded with the aggressive exteriors that adds more charm in the car and roomy interiors which provides the optimum level of comfort and ease. As per the suggested sketches or thumbnails the some loaded interiors of the Nissan Sunny car are few scoop images, looks aggressive with larger headlamps, cute smiling chrome girlle, separate fog lamp cluster and lower air intake. The Nissan Sunny will sport body colour rear view mirrors, body color mud flaps, door handles and bumper.
The integrated features of the car will come with better acknowledge when it will launch in India. The estimated price of Nissan Sunny in India will be around Rs 8, 00,000.
