The chassis of Skoda Octavia is designed to make driving safe at high speeds and effortless, when cornering. The driver can drive confidently, even at high speeds, because the suspension of car is stiff. It can dispose of the biggest bumps even at high speeds. The driver's seat is electrically adjustable and steering is power assisted, which enables effortless navigation.

Its interiors are very stylish. The central console sports an instrument cluster, with a broad choice of audio systems - Radio, CD player and CD changer. The electronically controlled Climatronic air conditioning system lets the occupants to set cabin temperature according to their needs. The electrically operated sunroof lets the passengers have the feel of nature and makes a bold statement.

A number of safety features have been incorporated in the car. Dual air bags in the front portion of the cabin shield the passengers from impact of collisions. Anti-lock Braking System resists skidding on slippery roads, when sudden brakes are applied. The high intensity Xenon headlamps ensure nice visibility. Fog lamps help to drive in foggy conditions.

The variants of Skoda Octavia include L&K, RS, Elegance 1.9 TDI, Automatic, Rider 1.8 Turbo and Rider 1.9 TDI. The car is priced between Rs 12 lakhs and 12.5 lakhs. It is available in a number of attractive colors, including Cappuccino Beige, Anthracite Grey, Candy White, Magic Black, Corrida Red and Storm Blue.
